Job Overview:

Join our Vehicle Maintenance Unit as a Senior Vehicle Maintenance Technician in Camarillo, California. We are looking for a highly organized, detail-conscious, and self-motivated individual to lead a team of technicians in ensuring the roadworthiness of vehicles to Department of Transport (DOT) standards.

Job Details:

This challenging role involves managing the performance of Vehicle Maintenance Technicians, diagnosing and repairing vehicles to DOT standards, completing relevant documentation, and ensuring the safe and effective use of tools and equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Effectively manage the performance of Vehicle Maintenance Technicians
• Assist in the day-to-day running of the Vehicle Maintenance Unit office
• Diagnose faults and repair vehicles to DOT standards
• Complete relevant documentation for all work undertaken
• Road test vehicles and accompany them for DOT tests as required
• Ensure safe use of tools, equipment, and personal protective clothing
• Provide high-level customer care and maintain communication between departments

Requirements:

• Qualification in vehicle maintenance
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a busy environment with attention to detail
• Full driving license required
