Job Overview:

We are looking for a Lead Clerk for our 1st Shift in the logistics department. This role involves maintaining pallet tracking, auditing driver logs, and supporting internal customer needs.

Job Details:

The Lead Clerk will be responsible for daily and weekly tasks related to pallet tracking, drivers' logs, DOT requirements, and liaising with internal customers. This position requires attention to detail and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle various office and administrative duties
  • Audit logs, trip reports, and other DOT reporting
  • Maintain and distribute route books
  • Collaborate with the Safety team as needed
  • Prioritize workload and maintain confidentiality
  • Assist with driver coverage and other tasks assigned

Requirements:

  • 2 years of general office experience
  • 1 year of customer service experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office)
  • AS400 experience preferred
  • Ability to maintain regular attendance
