Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Mig Welder to join our team in Taylor, Michigan. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing MIG welding on aluminum and steel materials, reading blueprints, fabricating vehicle models, and ensuring quality in all welding tasks.

Job Details:

The Mig Welder will be tasked with welding vehicle bodies, completing wiring and tire mounting, and collaborating with a team of welders to achieve project goals efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities:

Perform MIG welding on aluminum and steel materials.
Read and interpret blueprints for welding tasks.
Assemble and fabricate vehicle models like tailgates and chassis.
Complete wiring, tire mounting, and decal application on vehicles.
Collaborate effectively in a team of welders.
Ensure precision and quality in all welding and assembly tasks.

Requirements:

Proficiency in MIG welding.
Experience with aluminum and steel welding.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.
Comfortable working in a union environment.
Flexibility to perform various tasks beyond welding.
Experience in a fabrication shop environment is a plus.
Ability to work in varying temperatures, both hot and cold.
