We are looking for a skilled MIG/Stick Welder to join our team in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico. The ideal candidate should be adept at reading blueprints and welding symbols to perform MIG and Stick welding on steel of various thicknesses.

Job Details

The role involves interpreting blueprints, executing MIG and Stick welding on steel, setting up welding machines, and demonstrating proficiency in welding techniques. Candidates with 1-3 years of experience are preferred for this position.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols
• Perform MIG and Stick welding on steel
• Set up welding machines after zeroing them out
• Pass basic MIG flat welding tests
• Weld steel of various thicknesses, ranging from 20 gauge to 5/8 inch

Requirements

• Proficiency in MIG Welding
• Proficiency in Stick Welding
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
• Capability to read a tape measure
