We are seeking hardworking Laborers and Material Movers in Macomb to manually transport freight, stock, luggage, and other materials in warehouses, factories, and shipping areas. 

This role involves general labor duties, including loading, unloading, packing, and organizing goods.

Key Responsibilities Laborers and Material Mover job in Macomb:

• Maintain equipment storage areas to ensure proper inventory management.
• Read work orders or follow instructions to determine material and equipment needs.
• Move freight, stock, or materials manually or using trucks, tractors, or other equipment.
• Install protective devices such as padding, bracing, or strapping to prevent damage during transport in Macomb.
• Sort cargo before loading and unloading for efficient handling.
• Attach identifying tags or labels to containers for tracking.
• Keep records of materials moved using daily logs or production sheets.
• Secure cargo with slings, hooks, or other lifting devices.
• Carry and return tools or supplies as needed.
• Pack and re-pack containers, ensuring product safety.
• Assemble product containers or crates using hand tools and precut lumber.
• Operate controls to guide cranes, booms, or other equipment as required.
