Job Details:

The role involves System Safety engineering, developing safety plans, supporting program personnel, and training junior team members. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in System Engineering with a focus on System and Software Safety.

Responsibilities:

• Lead System Safety engineering tasks
• Support MDA and program personnel
• Integrate product lines effectively
• Develop capability specifications
• Provide training in SE and Safety techniques
• Review technical products for safety compliance
• Act as a technical interface to MDA counterparts

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years or advanced degree with 3+ years of experience
• Knowledge of MIL-STD-882E
• Specialization in System and Software Safety
• Experience in analyzing designs for safety requirements
• Ability to apply engineering principles for safety criteria
• Development of safety documents supporting customer requirements
