A company in Huntersville, North Carolina is looking for a Quality Control Technologist Team Lead. In this role, you will oversee quality testing of formulas and raw materials, providing support to various departments and managing a small team.

The Quality Control Technologist Team Lead will be responsible for supervising quality testing processes, managing staff, and ensuring standards are met.

• Perform and oversee standard QC testing and equipment checks.
• Make decisions on material rejections and deviations.
• Maintain the QC laboratory and organize supplies.
• Conduct all standard QC testing procedures.
• Provide root cause analysis for non-conforming materials.
• Train and guide QC staff.
• Introduce continuous improvement opportunities.

• B.S. in Food Science, Chemistry, or related field, or 5+ years of QC experience.
• Leadership experience in a lab setting.
• Experience with sensory evaluation and sampling of raw materials.
• Knowledge of GLP, GMP, and laboratory procedures.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and QC software.
