Job Overview

The Medical Records Specialist will play a vital role in managing and maintaining medical records for patient care, coding, reimbursement activities, and compliance. This position supports the smooth operation of the clinic while upholding confidentiality and accuracy standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, prepare, and manage medical records for patient care and administrative purposes.
• Ensure all medical documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with healthcare regulations.
• Review and edit tickets to ensure accurate insurance information.
• Prepare and maintain charts for electronic medical records in accordance with established guidelines.
• Communicate with physicians, staff, and supervisors to resolve record-related issues.
• Protect and maintain the confidentiality of patient and employee information.

Requirements
