We are seeking a Maintenance Technician for a mid-size fiberglass manufacturing company in need of a night shift technician in Waxhaw, North Carolina. The role involves performing preventive maintenance on plant machinery and electrical systems, providing an opportunity to work on proprietary equipment built in-house.

Job Details

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for routine maintenance on conveyors, bearings, sprockets, chains, belts, valves, and electrical components. This role requires working the night shift from Monday to Friday with potential for overtime and weekend hours as needed.

Responsibilities

Perform routine preventive maintenance on plant machinery and equipment.
Maintain and repair conveyors, bearings, sprockets, chains, belts, valves, and gearboxes.
Conduct electrical maintenance on PLCs, sensors, 3-phase motors, and control panels.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues on control panels and systems.
Ensure proper functioning of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Adapt to new challenges daily with proprietary equipment.

Requirements

3-5+ years of maintenance technician experience.
Proficiency in hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance.
Experience in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting.
Mechanical maintenance experience with various plant equipment.
Additional experience in CNC machine maintenance and automation systems is a plus.
