Job Overview:

A working maintenance supervisor is responsible for coordinating, scheduling, and auditing maintenance repairs for tractors, trucks, and trailers. The role involves understanding customer needs, managing resources efficiently, and ensuring high-quality service in small locations.

Job Details:

This role requires overseeing maintenance activities, managing inventory levels, developing the team, and personally completing repairs and preventative maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities:

Meet and exceed customer satisfaction
Coach, mentor, and develop service department associates
Monitor work levels of associates
Perform repairs and preventative maintenance tasks for 50-75% of the time
Manage fleet maintenance and repair expenses
Identify areas for improvement and reinforce policies
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Perform other duties as required

Requirements:

Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
5 years of fleet maintenance management experience preferred
Fully qualified as Tech I or Journeyman Mechanic
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Associate or Technical School degree preferred
Strong customer service and organizational skills
Valid Commercial Driver?s License
Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, and web-based applications preferred
