We are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to lead and collaborate with union skilled trades in maintaining and repairing equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in resolving conveyor issues, managing maintenance projects, and reducing equipment downtime.
Job Details:
The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing skilled trades and maintenance personnel, ensuring the efficiency and uptime of production equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Coach Safety, Quality, and Productivity for standardized work achievement.
- Lead maintenance personnel to evaluate controls requirements and enhance production efficiency.
- Supervise preventive maintenance schedules and repairs to minimize downtime.
- Coordinate manpower and materials to meet maintenance needs and reduce downtime.
- Monitor production processes, tooling, and operations efficiency.
- Analyze equipment performance and implement efficiency improvements.
- Coordinate equipment refurbishment and resolve downtime promptly.
Requirements:
- Fundamental understanding of PLC logic and controls, with RS Logic preferred
- Willingness to work shifts, including weekends with rotations
- Experience in production supervision, preventive maintenance, and hydraulics/pneumatics
- Prior expertise in automotive or similar manufacturing and computer skills
