Job Details:

This position involves installing, terminating, and testing various cabling types such as CAT 5e, 6, 6a, fiber, and coax. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining network racks, patch panels, and troubleshooting low voltage cable systems while ensuring compliance with industry standards. This role will require occasional travel to job sites across Northern Lake Zurich and out of Illinois.

Responsibilities:

• Install, terminate, and test various cabling types
• Build and maintain network racks and patch panels
• Troubleshoot low voltage cable systems
• Deliver exceptional customer service
• Communicate effectively with clients
• Travel to job sites in Northern Lake Zurich and out of Illinois

Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• BICSI Technician or Installation Certification
• Certifications in Powder Actuated tools, Confined Space, CPR, and First Aid
• Manufacturer certifications for installation and maintenance
• CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications
• 1-4 years of experience

Other Details:

This role may require occasional lifting and carrying of up to 50 pounds, with assistance available for weights up to 100 pounds. Working hours are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
