We are seeking an experienced Inventory Specialist to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee. As an Inventory Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing inventory levels at various customer locations. This role involves close collaboration with customers, inside, and outside sales teams.
Job Details:
The Inventory Specialist role entails monitoring and maintaining inventory levels, recommending inventory adjustments based on usage, identifying opportunities to expand product offerings, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor inventory levels and restock as necessary to meet defined stocking levels
- Suggest changes to customer inventory levels based on usage patterns
- Identify new product opportunities to enhance the client program
- Process customer spot orders and communicate relevant information to sales team
- Assist customers with inventory space management and coordinate product shipments
- Maintain knowledge of customer min/max levels and report back to management
- Visit customers on a scheduled basis and make emergency visits as required
- Address customer inquiries on-site and recommend product enhancements
Requirements:
- Mechanical/technical knowledge
- Understanding of Fluid Connector products
- Familiarity with Parker-Hannifin products
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational abilities
