As a Level III Diesel Technician, you will assist in minor repairs, component replacements, and major component repairs under the guidance of experienced technicians. The role involves working in an afternoon shift from Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Perform minor repairs on brakes, electrical components, and truck accessories.
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance tasks as per training.
- Assist in mechanical repairs and replacements as directed.
- Support customer service tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Utilize various hand and power tools for repairs and maintenance.
- Complete assigned tasks and projects under supervision.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of practical experience in vehicle or truck repair.
- Training in heavy vehicle mechanics or related field.
- Ability to use hand tools effectively.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license (Class 3 preferred).
- Basic computer skills for data entry.
- Reliable attendance and willingness to travel within the district.
