Job Overview:

We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Mechanic in Montebello, California to join our production plant team. The role involves repairing and maintaining machinery, engines, and production equipment. This is a first shift position with potential for overtime and profit sharing bonuses.

Job Details:

The Facilities Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of various machinery, motors, and production systems in our plant.

Responsibilities:

Maintain and repair air compressors, cooling towers, and other equipment
Perform plumbing, carpentry, and demolition tasks as needed
Support outside vendors and oversee hazardous waste storage
Assist other departments and complete safety projects
Perform additional assigned duties

Requirements:

Excellent mechanical and fabrication skills
Plumbing and carpentry experience beneficial
Good communication and English language skills
DOT Transportation of Hazardous Material Certification
