Job Overview:

Pick up and deliver trailers between Service Centers and/or turn-point locations via tractor-trailer combinations in De Pere, Wisconsin.

Job Details:

Operate tractor-trailer combinations, perform pre-trip inspections, hook/unhook trailers, maintain logs, comply with regulations, and load/unload freight as required.

Responsibilities:

• Operate tractor-trailer combination
• Perform daily inspections on equipment
• Hook/unhook trailers to/from a tractor and/or trailer
• Verify and complete required documentation
• Maintain accurate daily logs
• Comply with hazardous material regulations
• Follow dispatch instructions

Requirements:

• 1 year experience within most recent 3 years
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulatory requirements
• Basic written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work independently/team member
• Demonstrate initiative and motivation

Other Details:

Drive long distances on all types of roads and in all types of weather conditions in De Pere, Wisconsin. Hazardous Materials endorsement must be obtained within 120 days of acceptance.
