We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team in Mesquite, Texas. As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to ensure optimal performance.

Job Details:

As a Diesel Technician, you will work independently to perform repairs, inspections, and maintenance on vehicles in compliance with regulations and company standards.

Responsibilities:

Work effectively and safely within the shop area and on road calls without supervision.
Complete records timely and comply with DOT regulations and company standards.
Maintain a clean and safe shop environment.
Dispose of waste products properly.
Communicate with Maintenance Supervisor as required.

Requirements:

ASE Brake certification (or willingness to obtain within 180 days).
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
Self-starter with attention to detail.
Meet DOT requirements for vehicle inspections and brake maintenance.
Safely operate tractor/trailer units.
Technical knowledge for handling components like air compressors, fuel pumps, hubs, wheels, and springs.
Inspect, repair, or replace domes, valves, vents, etc., within safety and regulatory standards.
