In this role, you'll be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing major components to ensure the safety and reliability of vehicles.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and ensuring the safety of vehicles
- Performing preventive maintenance services independently
- Troubleshooting and repairing major components like engines and transmissions
- Keeping work area clean and organized
- Utilizing advanced tools and technologies for repairs and diagnostics
- Participating in ongoing technician training programs
- Completing assigned tasks and projects as directed
Requirements:
- 6 years of practical experience in truck and tractor-trailer maintenance
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Specialized training in major components diagnosis
- Valid driver's license, CDL preferred
- Problem-solving skills and excellent customer service abilities
- Ability to work well in a team and non-climate-controlled conditions
