Responsible for coordinating documentation required by US Customs/Government Agencies for complex and high-risk shipments to ensure regulatory compliance. This role involves providing exceptional customer service and ensuring proper classification and duty preference application.

Key responsibilities include obtaining correct classification of goods, data entry for import documentation, maintaining shipment records, and adherence to international import/export regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide impeccable customer service.
  • Obtain correct classification of goods for customs release.
  • Data entry and processing of import documentation.
  • Maintain and update shipment documentation.
  • Adhere to international importing and exporting regulations.

Requirements:

  • Associates degree or equivalent.
  • 1 year brokerage experience.
  • 1 year experience with customer contact.
  • Data entry/keyboard experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of customs regulations and tariff schedules.
